Thanks, Vito. Looks like I have a lot to learn. Ive been messing around doing what you suggested with mixed results. I will keep practicing. Thanks for all the help.

Thanks everybody for all the great efforts to paint the car. I showed them to my wife today and without insulting everybody else, she liked TheGhosts effort the best. Im not going to actually paint the car but it was nice to see how it would have looked. Great work guys. Thanks.

Here's my first ever attempt at altering a photo. Any ideas on how to keep the lines straighter?

Thats very good for a first attempt Caliboy. Certainly better than any of my efforts. You must have put a lot of time into it to get all the right bits red and leave the rest as it was. Maybe someone else can give you tips on haw to keep the lines a bit straighter. Thanks for having a go. Im glad to see my project is getting a lot of attention. People in this forum are very helpfull and willing to share their knowlege. Im a slow learner but i am getting there. Thanks everybody.
