I went out to get some firewood this morning - figured today would be a good day for the first fire since last winter. I saw the below fungi growing on the oak, got my camera and took this photo. I'm not excited about the results, so I thought I would see if anyone here could do better:

Hi, Ron. I cropped it just a bit, sharpened it a little, and added contrast. (Photoshop 7)

Nice shot. Really didn't need much help.

USM, rotate, crop... I'm not sure its better, but its different.

I'd have looked at the original, but the photobucket link seems to be asking for your password :-(

Here's a mushroom I found this past summer that fascinated me. I'll add another picture that will show you the scale. These photos were taken with my old 1.2 MP camera.

I really find these makeover challenges a great way to experiment with and learn how to use Photoshop!
