Here's my try.

P.S. :

Layer 0 :

- Your base image

Layer 1 (Fairy) :
- Fairy Search : I searched on Google images till I found a good one that could fit the image : both as pose and as image : http://www.mistsoftime.uk.com/for40537.jpg

- Fairy Selection ( some parts have been rebuit )

- Fairy Shrink and placement

- Brightness adjustment to fit the overall light

- Some blur has been added ( was too sharp with respect to the rest of the shot )

- Layer Effect : Drop Shadow

- Transparent Wings- WingSelectionand I applied with a big soft erase brushstoke with 25% opacity to reveal the backgroung in transparency.

Layer 2 (Fairy Reflection ) :

- Copy And Paste of Layer 1

- Selection reflection and shrinking

- Blend Mode left to Normal, opacity set to 40% for semi-reflection

- Some parts ( wing reflection on the stone shadow have been erased ).

- Same treatment as in Layer 1 has been applied to the wings

Layer 3 ( Leaves over the Wing ):

- Copy and Paste of some selected leaves which were in front of the Wing.

Hi Bjane,

Lovethe fairy circle. I think your borrowedfairy lookslike an exotic flowering planton the side of the pond- it would make a fab pic for aseed catalogue....
