Thanks for the sites and advice....I think I'll try a few things, but theones done by yourgood selves are really great, maybe after all the flattering comments re "the model" she may consent for another "shoot"

Here is a fix, using fixfocus, and several layer modes. a little clone and repair and a hint of levels with a mask.

I had a similar result initially but decided the grain was too much. What is hard with an image that impossible to actually fully fix is where to stop . You sharpen then step back a little to resoften. The main issue is the double image so it comes down to just making a nice artistic look. All in the eye of the beholder on this one..lol

There are lots of great alternatives here - am so impressed!

Work-wise I'm fascinated by the last one, and how it was done. Would you mind sharing your technique? It worksreally well.
