I took this from long distance on a hazy sunny day. I'd like to see how anyone can clean this up regaring saturation, haze reduction and obviously getting rid of the power lines. Thanks.

Here is my attempt with it. The first thing I did was clone out the wires. I then did an auto contrast and saturation adjustment. I used the smudge tool to smooth some of the cloning "edges". Finally did an unsharp mask.

Due to the low resolution of this image, it was difficult for me to do much more. Also, there are a lot of jpeg compression artifacts that I didn't try to remove.

I am using PSP7.

Well I had lots of fun messing around with different colours but there is something about this tower in Black and White that kept drawing me back.

It reminds me of those terrible old dramatic movies from the '40's like Jane Eyre. You know the OVERLY dramatic movies that make you so depressed you want to throw yourself from a cliff!?!?!?!?

Anyway, hope you don't mind!

Rose, no I don't mind at all. I considered using black and white myself. This tower is on the moors like some of the Bronte sisters books as you can see on this link http://homepage.ntlworld.com/angela....rwentower.htmland is not too far from Haworth where the Bronte sisters lived, even though they are in different counties. :-)
