Well Alady...I used adobe Illustrator to convert to 16 color vector image..Pasted that back into photoshop and added the material background with one of my filters..

I kind of liked the way it turned out also, but it does not work that well for some pics..Probably has to do with the amount of colors in a pic..not really sure why!!

I really like the warm browns in the' just edited' version by aladyforty. Simple and sweet! I'mrarely keen on textured finishes though so am a bit biased in this respect.
