I really like this shot but the glass at the zoo had scratches on it so this lizard doesn't look as good as he could. I have photoshop elements 1.0, Corel Draw 9, and the Gimp. If you can fix this image without blurring it or blowing the highlights then please let me know how you did it. Thanks. I left the image at 100% but cropped it down to a smaller area.

PSP9 has a small scratch removal tool that is excellent for situations like this. As long as you don't make the selection width too wide, it works great. I used a width of 15.

OK only real way is some leg work, so this was CS2 using healing, spot healing and clone brush (could be done with healing and clone only) then some surface blur and mask and some sharpen and mask, some work on highlights as well while I was there :-)

I did most of it more can be done on the original just time patience and it will come out great. hardest part is not confusing marks on the reptile with scratches.
