Hi,I took this shot recently and was wondering if some one could increase the effect of the water. Also,if you could explain how it was done would be appreciated as well. I have Photoshop Elements 2. Thanks all.

Using PSE 3, I used the diffuse glow tool, and then shadows/highlights, increasing midtone contrast. I also tried with Photoimpact and got similar results, but used less contrast in midrange. I'll just post the Elements version, as that is what you use. I don't know if version 2 has the same tools, though.

You could try reducing the diffuse effect to the water alone, I think that would yield a pleasing result.

I'm jus an old fashioned guy but I like the water much better in the original. The cotton effect so much desired recently just doesn't grab me.
