Proff you did a great job, yes you could work on the hotspots but they are not really that bad, you cleaned the skin up well and it has the most natural result of all the edits so I think you are on the right path, well done a great job. I think it helps when you know the subject well as you are less willing to remove too much which is a GOOD thing.

The skin does look more natural and there is something in what creeduk says about the relationship between the photographer and the subject. But it's fun to try different things and thank you for the opportunity 8). |

Thanks to everyone for there comments and tips on this shot, I agree the one I done is a little more realistic, but all I learnt was from this forum, so gratitude goes to you all.
I had reason to spend so much time on it.... but the tips and tricks from you ppl are invaluable. I asked my daughter which one she prefers, she said both the ones done by Wagaboo. which is a brilliant effect, Teenagers eh...... so naive. tony ------ |

But if I was to edit....
I took a little more of the hot spots out, and tried to do some of the things your Daughter might like. Also a little DOF. |

Tony, just my way of saying Grrr to Wagaboo for producing the favourable results. I'm only leg pulling, hence the two winks and a big grin :G.
His two edits have Glammed your daughter very well and we know teenagers like to Glam up occasionally . It was great to have a willing (??) subject to work on .Steve. |
