Trying to keep it real. Again .

Agree with sjburges about the tighter crop, but felt it could do with a little more. But don't agree with the 'slimming' of the face, the original looks more natural and the shot was taken at 139mm (35mm equiv.) .

Tony, have a chat with Joan .

Or let's see if we can make you as cute as your girls

And just in case she would like a tan....

Edit to remove red eye.

I know I should not have bee up this later so hopefully my tired eyes did not miss anything, let me know if they did
I think I was indeed right, lol as should have listened to the wife and had an early night. You guys have done a great job. My edit on D1 was a lot better than this now I look at it and review. I tried for the Vaseline on the lens look which came off but was not the way to go. I like the effect Wag but I always feel it goes too far, I know that a lot of pros do it. For me Steve nailed it this time, great job. As mentioned in the other thread some softer lights really would help, a lot of time is spent removing the hot spots and that is easier when smoothing but takes more time when texture and color need to be replaced. Like Wag said previously thanks for letting us have willing models to work on, we love the challenges.

you chaps have done some hard work on my kids, much appreciated, you've all done awesome jobs to them, the double-up is brilliant stevekin.

I have asked Joan's permission to put one of her photo's on, and I can not repeat her answer on this forum, I will be barred........... leave that to you's, she got a bit

As for me, I suppose I should, let you have some fun with it, watch this space..

thanks again to all of you....

You're welcome Tony. As has been said by me and others, thanks for the opportunity to try out different things, and it's good that we have seen different takes on the subject. It would be boring if they were all the same .

Not forgetting your girls, of course, for letting us. Not many teenagers like having their photo taken, let alone posted on the internet for all to see and edit .

I can guess what Joan said :O.

We're watching this space .

Here is my attempt. I tried to get the look similar to what I did with Jane.

You have done a good job Brian, better late than never, worth the wait though...

thanks very much, the kids have plenty of "dolled-up" photo's of themselves now.

I hope I did her justice. There were a few other touches I wanted to try but this is my first shot at her.
