Don't much like the original sky after the enhancements. The far shore needs some color shift but I'm too lazy to select it again.

There's a nice useful program Julie called "Digital Camera Enhancer" It's from Mediachance.com. It was free when I got it a few years ago, but I'm not sure if it's free anymore.

When an image is opened in this prog, it is displayed twice, side by side, to show the before & after effects of "enhancing"

It's very simple & quick to use. There are 5 slide controls named:
Auto Balance
Color
Mid Tones
Enhance
De Noiser

As these sliders are varied the result is immediately seen compared with the original.

While not as sofisticated compared with the advice & examples you have been given here, it's not too bad. Here is a result of your image after using the enhancer. It only took about a minute with the sliders.
