Default My try and tips

Even tho this is an old thread, it is still on the net and people can always use tips from other users. My method is to use good parts of the background, stamp around the head to restore old shape, once done its easier to restore the face. Copy the ear and use perspective tool to make it look natural. Soften skin with Alien skin, put shadows and hair back with burn tool. De-jpeg, add some contrast.

HoneyD, I hope you do this for a living, you're good enough!

Default Old photo adjustments

I KNOW it is a very old post but I wanted to put my two cents in. I restored the photo to the best it can be and retained the old photo look. I kept the orig background. Its looks better with it than trying to change to a background that does not match the photo

I enhanced the eyes and shadows here
