Default Luna Moth

Walked out the front door this morning to find an interesting creature clinging to my window screen....a five inch luna moth.

I thought the front antennae were very unusual. This particular moth had its wings folded in such a way that the set of "eyes" on the underwings was not visible. However, there was plenty visible to gain the interest of one on the "other" side of the screen and window.

Shot with the K-7 with the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 DiLD. Lighting was with the AF540FGZ, straight PTTL mode, O-ring circular flash diffuser, Manual Exposure ... 1/50 sec at f/10.0....ISO 500.
