The SLT have heat issues with HD video, and since it is a EVF, you are basing all your shots 1/10 of a second behind the live action. It can be a big hinder to action shooting. Also the is a 1/3 stop of light lost with the translucent mirrors. So I think the A580 or A560 would give you a bit better high iso performance. No one mention it yet as the slt's are very new. Not sure how cleaning mirror will be down the line. I know when canon used a translucent mirror in the past, it was not the easiest thing to keep clean with allot of lens changes.
