THX Maff. I probably will get an IS lens at some point to have for for those ocassions when I'm shooting a lot of movement, but I have to say with the 28-300 I like not having to do a lot of lens changes. The cost is a lot easier too. However, as I have noted before, there's more than one right answer to most photography questions - just depends on what works for each of us.
