Default [pics] Galah & Crimson Rosella

After the wonderful weekend session I had in my neighbours garden the previous week, I made a return visit the following Friday morning. Although not nearly as busy this time around, there were still a couple of different birds hanging around, including a few Galahs, Spotted Doves & Crimson Rosellas. Pictured here is one of the female Galahs feeding from the seeds that had been spilled on the ground.

This Crimson Rosella, scouring the ground for fallen seeds, was a little more cautious than the other birds it kept to the back of the small group of the birds & was much more alert to my presence, which is quite typical of the rosella species in my experience.
