flasha, its true that a lot of times you do not want the horizon to be right in the middle of the frame, but as you can see in jerwilhelm's edit, it's not. It follows the "rule of thirds"
In your original post's photo, the horizon is actually in the bottom 1/4 or even 1/5, meaning there is probably too much sky.
Remember that the "rules" are not rules, but hints as to how you can compose and edit a photo. Whatever you find most pleasing is of course the most important rule to follow!
