wildlifeiyear,

aladyforty,

Some years ago I went by myself on a very long hike in a northern mountain area. I had all the equipment and used map and compass. I wasn't exactly lucky with the weather. It can change rapidly up there

I was trying to put up my antique tent. Suddenly the sun break through, just a few beams, but enough to lighten up at spot with a Rock Ptarmigan (Lagopus muta), a northern grouse. It was a fantastic scenery. I'll never forget it.

So I was quite happy this time around, having a camera at hand, in a similar situation

Thank you

Torgny
