Went out this afternoon for my first experiences with the K-5 and I came home all smiles. One of my frustrations with the K series has been the quality of continuous focus while following a moving target. I think they may have got it right this time. I went to a familiar location, the local fish hatchery, because I knew that I would, at least have an almost unlimited supply of Canada Geese on which to practice. On these first geese I followed this pair for nearly two dozen shots before I lost focus.
Couple of other flying geese
As I got home, I saw this fellow on the butterfly bush. Light was beginning to fail, so I upped the ISO to 2000.
Can't say how impressed I was with the camera. All shots were with the K-5 and the Sigma 50-500 (Bigma).
