Default Trying the new LX7

Hi All,

Since getting a pentax dslr, I've been monitoring the compact market with interest, but little came along that would get along with the slr quality.. Until now. The specs are obviously there and hard to ignore, with a very attractive analog interface and full manual video control that will make it a useful second / bring everywhere camcorder too Compared to the Lx3, I love the 250 seconds shutter vs 60, the F1.4 vs 2.0 and cmos sensor allowing for much better video and burst speeds. Using a class10 sd card, rwa+jpg bursts are written to the card pretty fast, and it's possible to continue shooting while the buffer is emptying. Great

Here's a 720p slow motion video I recorded alongside the runway
