A friend purchased a decent DSLR, but refuses to learn how to do anything with it but shoot in full automatic.
They have identical twin boys, so many of the photos are of two of them.
In full auto mode, the camera chooses the most shallow depth of field it can. Therefore, a majority of their photos have one child out of focus.
They complain about it, but refuse to do anything about it.
So even with good equipment, you don't get the results you want unless you spend some time learning about it.
