Optically it doesn't get much better than the original 14-54 f2.8-3.5. The only reason for selling mine was when I moved to the 12-60. From what I remember it's a relatively compact lens and is definitely fully sealed, so pairing it with the sealed MMF-3 on an E-M5 would give one a fully sealed outfit for working in sandy/rainy environments.
Barring a new fast zoom that is affordable from Olympus this will be my next set up if I ever get an om-d em-5. Even though the 12-60 seems to be quite good I just feel it's probably not fast enough to be an all rounder
