Hi there,

I plan to buy a Canon EOS 350D (I believe it is calledthe Rebel XT in the US) and need some advice on lenses.

I already have a Canon 28-80mm Ultrasonic and a Canon 75-300 mm 1:4-5.6 Ultrasonic lens. Should I stick with these, buy the EOS 350D kit with the Canon 18-55mm EF-S lens or buy a different lens altogether?

I mostly want a set-up for everyday photography -pics of the kids, trips away, etc. I am also thinking about buying a macro lens - any suggestions? I am frustrated with the digital camera I have now and have decided upon the EOS 350D. It would be good to be able to use my existing lenses, but not if it just means more frustration.

Any advice greatly appreciated - my head is spinning from all this talk of lenses.
