For the past year, I've been mainly focusing on the technical aspects of photography. But now I'm hoping to take ACTUAL pictures during the summer. One day, my friend agreed to be a model (and it was pretty random which explains her clothes). Unfortunately for me, I could hardly think of any poses. My main focus was on the aperture/shutter/background details while my friend made up her poses.

I thought the picture below turned out well, but I would like to get some opinions from other portrait photographers. I would also appreciate any advice about coming up with poses, since I find that to be a difficult aspect of portrait photography.

Thank you.
