Hi Riley

I tried to open the EXIF hyperlink which is in Japanese - didn't think about looking at the EXIF in English after I downloaded the image - thanks.

But I admit that it's difficult to compare noise in images unless they're at the same magnification and the above link doesn't make that easy to do. So I was just statingmy first impression between the two. I must say though, that displayed full-screen on my Sony 19" Pantone-calibrated LCD monitor, the two glassware images look very similar in terms of noise. It's only when you look at the ISO1600 image in its natural BMP size that you see a lot more noise.
