In the Gastown district of Vancouver, B.C. in the midst of quaint boutiques, shops, and restaurants sits this operating steam driven clock. Gastown is located a few blocks East of the central business district of Vancouver and just a few blocks from the waterfront to the North.
These are scanned 35mm slides taken about ten years ago.
The first shot is a bit busy. I hadn't learned the KISS (Keep it simple, stupid) rule, yet! I was trying to get the clock, the large tree in the background, and the light poll. You can see steam coming out of the top of the clock.
The second shot shows a bronze plaque at the base of the clock.
