Aright so today I went to my local camera store and I saw they were selling a Canon EOS 20D for $300. He recommended this camera for me over a point and shoot or a 'bridge' camera. He says that I would learn more from a DSLR. I then asked about the Nikon D40 and he said that the Canon EOS 20D is much better than the Nikon D40. Is this true? Also how well are the pictures on the Canon. Ease of use (I'm a beginner at photography)? Does it weigh alot (I know DSLR's weigh more then point and shoots, obviously, but does it get tiring to carry it?) Thanks for your help guys (this forum has helped me so much in finding the right camera)
