Well, I was going to blame your Adobe Gamma adjustment (as that's subjective to your background lighting and your visual perceptions), but that comment above doesn't make sense. If you used Adobe Gamma to set your monitor profile, that would be the same regardless of which program you're running to view the pictures. Unless you have it set to view in soft-proofing mode in PS 7 and your selection of softproof is something other than your monitor or printer profile. Check that. Other than that, I don't have any ideas at the moment. Sorry.
