And what about marketing? Nikon and Canon promotions & advertisements are quite prevalent in print and television. Even in Pop. Photog, Pentax I don't recall seeing anything from Pentax in the last year. No major sponsorships of any kind either. If they do not promote the K-7 and the rest of their line-up and get expert users to start endorsing them, they will continue to yield ground to those who do...and will be destined to remain a fringe brand for folks like us.
As has been stated above, it would not matter if the K-7 is everthing that it is spec'd out to be if no one is willing to consider it as an alternative to the D300 or the 50D. No sales=no revenue=less money for R&D=poor products=poor sales......
