Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a lens hood or how to rig one up for the TCON-17 to help with sun glare and also to help protect it? I do not want to epoxy anything to it or ram a filter ring in there. Hope to hear from you soon. |

Don't know of anyway to do it that doesn't involve adding a filter ring to the T-CON. Actually it is easy to add the ring - a 77mm filter just screws right into the end of the lens. I didn't have to file down the threads or glue it in - nice tight fit. I bought a cheap 77mm filter and removed the glass and screwed it in. Now I can add a UV filter - mainly to protect that big piece of glass from scratches - and a collapsable rubber hood. Works great for me.
