Does anyone know of a vendor that offers an adapter to mount Pentax K mount lenses to a DX6490, DX7590 55mm lens adapter tube?? I've got a lot of pentax lenses I'd like to play around with when I get my camera but no way to use them ( for bad or good) without the adapter.

I'm not sure why you would want to do that....
If you want to use the SLR lenses as teleconverters, it won't work. SLR Lenses are prime lenses. Teleconverters consist of a prime lens plus a diverger, to magnify the central part of the image, and produce a parallel light ray path. If you want to connect them together, you could try a Pentax K mount to "T" mount adapter. This was used to a pentax K mount lense to a scew mount SLR camera. You may be able to find an adapter fromT mount to filter thread. |
