I'm considering buying a wide-angle lens for my Panasonic FZ-20. Having seen the price of the 'official' Panasonic one (around £300!), I was wondering if anyone could recommend an alternative?

Here are my observations with the Raynox:

Without the filter issue though, it seems to be a great lens!

Have you checked Steve's Panasonic users forum? A number of FZ20 owners use an Olympus wide angle lens. The number is something like WCON-xx (can't remember the numbers, sorry). If you post this question on that forum you'll probably get lots of advice.
