Is there anyway to extend the Zoom on a Fuji S7000 beyond the 6x zoom that the camera comes standard with ?? Is there a lens that would enable me to do this ??
Any help would be appreciated. |

There aren't any lenses which you could use to extend zoom, you can affect only to focal lengths of wide angle and tele with lens converters.
"Zoom" number is just ratio of longest and shortest focal lengths which itself doesn't even tell to what kind photography camera fits... and because lens converter affects to both "ends" ratio stays same. |

And now for the uncomplicated answer, you can use an Olympus tcon-17 teleconverter lens on your S7000, being a 1.7x lens it will give yousimilar results as 10x zoom. I've been using one on my S7000 for a little over a year, it gives pretty good results. Clyde |
