:? Does any one have any experience using a 1,000mm telephoto lens with a Sony DSC S50? I'm trying to adapt it for birding photos. I've already checked out digiscoping options. Thanks .. Andy

Another option is to attach your camera to a spotting scope (if you own one.) There is a forum here dedicated to that topic, it's called "digiscoping." The moderator (Lin Evens) is very knowledgeable and helpful, so you'll find good info there. Eric |

Thanks for the input, however I was told by Tom at CKCPowers.com that the CrystalVue 8x32 Sharpshooter Lens will vingette with the Sony DSC S50. I have been working on building my own lens using a 500mm telephoto and a 40mm 1.25" eyepiece for a telescope. Andy
