Hello all :bye:

I am a proud owner of Fuji S7000. Already have a 55mmUV filter that is attached with 55mm tube adapter to the lens. Thinking about getting a flower-shapedlens hood to minimize the stay light entering the lens. I have encountered a few posts where people talked about possible vignette if 55mm lens hood in mounted on the adapter tube and zoom is used! Is this true? :?Here is a link to what I want to buy:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...67700&rd=1

Description says: The hood will work with lens with 55mm filter thread andwith focal lengthabove 28mm. In other words, it will fit on 35mm, 50mm, and 80mm lenses. It will work withzoom lenses such as24-85, 28-70, 28-80, 28-85, and 28-90.

Any suggestions on what I should do, what to buy? Any other sites or links with more information are greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I know with my lens hood it says it will cause a vignette if it is zoomed all the way in (widest angle) and I usethe on-cameraflash. I havetried this and I did get a vignette at the bottom of the image.

Which lens hood are you using (name brand and shape - flower, normal, round, wide angle)? Thanks a lot. Also, is it vignette or just metal obstructing a view? I will be using external Sunpak 383 flash!
