I have the nikon coolpix 8800 and would love to get more out of it. I do have the wide angle lens and the raynox super macro conversion lens which both seem to work well....but that's all I've tried so I have nothing to compare to. I would like to add more telephoto but the nikon tc-e17ed is very expensive and I am looking for others ways to add more zoom in a cheaper way without sacrificing quality.
What I am asking is this, which would be the way to go... adapter tubes or step up rings to enable using different brands, or am I even headed in the right direction?
I love taking nature shots....birds, flowers, bugs and I like to experiment with different things. I found the nextphoto adapters and the raynox adapters, but it all gets very confusing. This is just a hobby that I love and I am a bit of a novice when it comes to the technical stuff. So if anyone understands what I'm trying to say here and could offer any advice, I'd love to hear it. Thanks so much for your patience.
