Hi All,
Can someone tell me if B&H (www.bhphotovideo.com) is an authorized Nikon reseller? I noticed that they sell both imported and usa lens's - I would think that Nikon authorized shops would not deal with grey market imports??? Thanks Eric |

Many of the best camera lens are imported. This would not make them a gray market item.

B&H has so much power, the big manufacturers let them get away with things that others might not be able to do.
The definition of "Grey" market is that the item is not supposed to be sold in the US. It isn't that it's "imported" (why B&H doesn't call them "grey" I don't know.) I don't believe that any of the Nikon or Canon lenses are made in the US. So they are "imported" in that sense. But if they are not "grey" market items (unless they are redirected to the US instead of being sold in their regular market.) Eric |
