I think I'm going to go for the Canon A60 with the WC-DC52 (24mm wide adapter) I'll sacrifice the 1MP difference of the A70 if the 24mm adaptor is worth it. If not I'll go with the A70.
Anyone have pictures using the 24mm on the A60/70? or an opinion on the above adapter? Thanks in advance. ![]() |

Jayson,
How do you like your A70? I'm still debating if I need the 3.0MP A70 over the 24mm wide angle on the A60 or visa versa. -=- |

If it were me I would get the a70 and save up for the wide converter later. I am just uploading these now so depending on when you read this they may not be there yet. Click on the gallery named wide. The first shot is the camera at 1600x1200 (the resolution of the a60), the second was at 2048x1536 (the high resolution on the a70). Both pics were taken with an a70 though. Having upgraded from an a40 (2mp) to an a70 (3mp), The diffrence is defanatlly worth it. even if you do not print biger than 4x6, a little croping on a 2mp image will show quality loss on 4x6 prints. The third shot is with a 0.8x olympus wide angle so the 0.7x canon will go a little wider But that is all I had to use. I shot that one at a lower resolution as I use dial up and uploading pics to pbase takes a long time.
