Even though I am new at this, the G10 has allowed me to take some very good shots. However, I am already finding that I want more zoom capability. I see that there is a teleconverter lens available from Canon that I am considering. I realize that I also have to buy the conversion lens adaptor. I would like to know if anyone has used this set up and if they are pleased with the results. Do I have any other options as far as choices of teleconverter lenses that I can buy? Thanks.

Take a look at lensmateonline.com . After doing quite a lot of research I decided to buy their teleconverter system rather than the Canon one.It just arrived a couple of days ago and I haven't had time to "play" with it yet, but it seems to be very well made.

I'll check it out. What made you decide on this system vs. the Canon system?
