:?can someone tell me which adapter i need, i have a Canon S2 IS and im going to buy a Olympus TCON 17 lens, not sure what adapter to get ?? does anyone else have the same set up ?? thanx in adavance

Are you sure it will work with the S2? The reason I ask is that I bought a Canon TCon (but not the one for the S1) and it wouldn't focus. Images were horrible. I had to return it and buy the exact Canon TCon for the S1 (forgot the designator). I'd check the Canon forums to make sure the S2 will work with 3rd party TCons.

Yes it works fine, it is one of the commonest tcons used on the S2 or S3 ..

I wonder why the Canon Tcon didn't work? IIRC, it was actually 58mm and I had to step it down to 52mm. The images were completely unusable (and I'm not picky). I wound up buying the specified Tcon for the S1.
I know the Oly 1.7 is used on Kodaks and such. Seems to be a very popular piece of glass. |
