It is really hot outside, but I noticed a mamma and papa quail with very young ones.
I purchased my Canon 3si and haven't really been able to use it a lot because of the heat. I went outside under the patio and the 12X lense didn't begin to give me the close up image I want. So my quesiton is, do I need a teleconverter, what size, how much power, will I need a step up for the converter to fit (what size?) and will any brand work? Theses quail are trapped in our backyard for we have a block wall. Boy are they ever cute. Thanks for any response.-gle |

Have a look here.
You will need to buy an adapter if you do not have one, it fits to the camera and filters or tcons/wcons screw to the end of it. I believe the adapter comes in either 52mm or 58mm so which one is up to you and the connecting size of whatever tcon you end up buying. |
