On the dutch page for the casio-camera, I found a list of optional accessories for the 3500 and 4000.
In the list it says "LU35-A conversion lens adaptor" which you have to use to attatch the teleconvertor and the wide angle lens. The list also mentions a "convertor lens adaptor" Does anyone know if there are indeed two different adaptors (one for the wide angle & tele and one for other lenses & filters?) or if this is probably a mistake on their side and they added the product to the list twice under different names? If it is just one adaptor, is it also usable with other lenses & filters? |

Hi Suzie,
I never heard of a second adapter. My girlfriend uses the LU-35A on her QV-3500EX and it works fine. She uses it with the Canon TC-DC58 teleconverter, a B+W UV 010 filter to reduce blooming in daylight, a ND filter for extremely sunny days ... sunglasses for the cam :-) Sometimes she also uses a B+W NL4 close-up lens. The LU-35A is definitly worth the money ... built of aluminium, not plastic. You can use it with every 58mm threaded lens or filter! [Edited on 27-6-2002 by Chris™] |

casio no longer has them in stock and will not be getting them back in i was told on the phone before the lady HUNG UP on me. i couldnt believe how rude she was. i have called about 50 stores in the US and mostly get laughs about it. i have found one place in NY that is looking to get an adapter made to use the lense tube from the canon g1/g2 so that would be cool but he said it could cost upwards of 50-60bux.
