Default Coolpix 800

Does anyone have any experience using 3rd party zoom lenses with a Nikon Coolpix 800? Specificly, the Kenko 8x32 and CrystalVue 8x32?

I do not have any experience with any add-on lens but you may like to visit a web page where Steve has tested the Lenses,
I can only say the Kenko lenses are made by Tokina of Japan and I assume them to be good lenses however, please check out reviews elsewhere on this forum before buying.

Nikon Coolpix 800 + Kenko 8x32 Picture #1

Picture #2 - This one was handheld

I have since sold both the Nikon and the Kenko. The pictures are great, but you don't have any zoom less than 16x (8x Kenko, 2x Nikon) w/o vignetting. I took the photo above (#1) on the beach, using a post to stabilize the camera. It is very difficult to take a picture with this combo w/o blurring (due to hand shake). I think it made Steve's POTD a few yrs ago (#1).
