I'm reluctant to buy any digital camera which would allow me to change lenses because of the sensitive electronics. How do users of such digital cameras protect the electronics while changing lenses?
Thank you. ![]() |

My cam, a Fuji 602z uses an extension tube which screws in outside the normal zoom tube. Since the original lens is not removed, there is no exposure of cam internals, only grief at the size, weight and balance the cam now becomes!

My Olympus C4040 has an extension tube also. The original lens is not removed, the different lens attachment is added to the end of the tube. The same is also true of filters. I have a Raynox telephoto lens that I use and it does make the camera bulky.
