I was hoping to receive some advice for selecting a lens or combo of lens for our Canon G2. I spend alot of time in the backcountry and the opportunities for great pics are numerous. Although some are close, most are 500-1000 yds and even farther. Most are of large animals, (deer, elk, bears, etc.), also birds and scenery. I thought about the Lens Mate Adapter and"Hoya HMC" macro filter set, and maybe adding a 2X or a zoom.I am not sure if this would work, but I would like to get something that I could use my photo shop with to acheive some great close up pics. I also have two high quality Burris spotting scopes, 20X and 30X if anyone knows about any adapters to use them. Thanks for anysggestions, they are very much appreciated. JP

Check out the Raynox G2 page for their lenses:
http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/digital/egcanong2.htm If you are serious about this type of shooting, you may want to consider a long zoom camera like the Canon S1 IS (and you can add a Raynox teleconverter on top of that). |
