-   -   Good 58mm wide angle lens for Sony F717? (

I'd like to know what the options are for 58mm wide angle lenses for the Sony F717 (in the US).

My priorities:
* Minimum or no distortion in wide angle mode
* Lens spec - 0.7x or lesser
* Silver/gray color to match the camera

The VCL-HGD0758 has been out of stock for some time now in several stores (I asked Sony and they replied that it's not discontinued and that it'd be available sometime in the future). The couple of stores that seem to have it charge around $300 for it!!!

Could someone please provide suggestions for a good wide angle lens (available in the US)? My budget is not too low, but anything around $225 or less would be good. Do let me know all options (even if they don't fit within this budget).

Thanks for your time! :)

I tried the Sony WA made for the 717 and sent it back. It was huge and very heavy.It totally unbalanced the camera. Then I tried the Raynox .66x wideangle model srw-6600-58. It works very well for me and cost me about $100.It just screws onto the front of the 717 anddoes not mess up the feel of the camera.

I bought it through because they had a money back guarantee.
