Hi! I am new here and have a question. I am really wanting to get into photography and have checked out the New York Institute of Photography for classes. I have an Olympus C-3020 and I am looking for a lens so I can take better close up shots. I have looked on Ebay and other sites and I just don't know what I need. I can't afford a "professional" camera right now. I want to practice for a while. Can anyone HELP ME??!!
Thanks for any input. |

The model you need is the WCON-08E. Check the Olympus compatibility chart for what is needed to attach it to your camera. Don't feel that you are obligated to purchase the kit from Olympus; anywhere you can get the separate components at a better price will be fine. Double-check, but I believe you need: the CLA-1 Conversion Lens Adapter and Step-up Ring 43mm-46mm.

this lens actually requires a 55mm thread. However, my lens came with a step up ring from 43 to 55.

Yes, my camera required a 49-55mm step-up ring. Shelbyville, you might want to check with Olympus, because stacking too many adapter rings may cause vignetting at your widest setting.
