I just bought a 0.5x wide angle lens for my Sony H5 and don't really notice much difference when I'm using it and when I'm not. The insert that came with it said to set my camera to infinity. I have no idea what that means. The lens itself seems to be a good one -- a Crystal Vision High Def. lens. I just don't know the best setting for my lens. I do know to change the conversion lens to wide on the menu, but other than that, can someone please help me find the best setting to get the most out of this lens. Also, this wide angle lens includes macro. Do I need to change my menu option to "closeup" to use this? Do I take it off of the wide angle lens and use it by itself? I really don't know what I'm doing. Please help! ANYBODY!!

Have you read AAK's whitepaper ?

See chapter 10 for wide angle ..

There are also chapters on using close up/macro lenses.
