Kenko lenses for a Coolpix 4500?

Hi,

I have http://www.thkphoto.com/products/kenko/cdc-24.html]this lens set in mind for a Coolpix 4500... I can't really afford a lot on the lenses, but would like the added zoom. Is this lens going to be worth what I pay, or are the pictures going to be terrible?

Also, could you recommend any other similar lenses that might be around $50? If it didn't include the wideangle, the $50 for a telephoto might still be good.
