I havea Film Camera Minolta XG9 with 2 lens :

- Kiron 80/200 f/4.5 Macro 1:4 055 MC 47018817 and

- Kalimar Automatic MC 1: 1.7 50mm 520 Number K8826337

The Digital Sony DSLR A-100 can use some kind of Minolta lens...The Alpha lens mount is identical to the Minolta A-type bayonet mount, enabling the use of a large back catalog of existing Minolta Maxxum & Dynax Lenses.

But I dont know my 2 old lens above can use for the A-100 or not . I already have the Sony R1 but really like buying the Sony A-100 but people said the lens W/18-70MM F/3.5-5.6 go with it not good because made by plastic...it s better have old minolta lens or buy another lens

Thanks for your advices...
